BIG SOUTH FOOTBALL SUMMARY
Knotted at 28-all with under five minutes to play, Campbell ran in a pair of touchdowns while forcing three Gardner-Webb turnovers to seal a 42-28 victory in the inaugural North Carolina East/West Barbecue Bowl at Spangler Stadium. North Carolina A&T improved to 2-0 in league games with its 38-34 comeback win over North Alabama. Kennesaw State won its Big South opener with a 34-15 victory at Hampton. Robert Morris claimed its first-ever Big South victory with a 31-24 triumph over Charleston Southern. Monmouth suffered a setback to Princeton on a late field goal, 31-28.
